Imagine the challenge

During a planned or emergent outage, you become the hub: translating work scopes into action, guiding contractors across the plant, confirming drawings and schedules with engineers, and documenting every milestone, delay, and changeall while holding the line on safety and quality.

Engagement details

• Where: Loxahatchee, FL
• Length: 3 months with potential extension
• Per Diem: Offered to qualified candidates

How youll lead

• Partner daily with outage management, contractors, and engineering to coordinate tasks and mitigate issues.
• Verify technical drawings, schedules, and requirements to align stakeholders.
• Oversee field execution on turbines, boilers/HRSG, piping, auxiliary, and structural scopes.
• Maintain meticulous records of completed work, delays, and field revisions.
• Embed safety protocols and quality expectations in every activity.

Bring multi-discipline strength

Mechanical

• Oversight of steam/combustion turbines, HRSGs, boilers, and valves.
• Knowledge of Balance of Plant (BOP) systems.
• P91 welding experience.

Electrical

• Experience supervising generator, exciter, and auxiliary electrical maintenance.
• 1+ years as an Electrical Supervisor or Superintendent.
• Hands-on understanding of grounding, medium/low voltage, transformers, and reading P&IDs.

Instrumentation & Control (I&C)

• Control system calibration, testing, and tuning.
• Fieldwork with DCS like GE Mark V/VI or Ovation.
• DCS commissioning and startup.
• Competence reading P&ID, electrical, and mechanical drawings.

What it takes

• Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent hands-on technical background.
• 2+ years in outage coordination or power plant maintenance.
• Proven familiarity with safety standards and regulatory practices.
