Medical Technologist (Fort Lauderdale)
- MUST HAVE: Valid Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license***
- Perform and interpret testing on blood products and specimens
- Process, verify, and document samples and results
- Conduct quality control, equipment maintenance, and calibration
- Identify and resolve transfusion-related issues
- Maintain accurate records and utilize lab systems
- Support and oversee lab assistants/technicians as needed
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or related field
- 1+ year of Medical Technologist experience (or equivalent)
- Experience with blood bank instrumentation (e.g., serofuges, cell washers, automated analyzers) preferred
- Active Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (Immunohematology or Blood Banking) required
