Rep Financial
: Overview: Reports directly to the Departmental Manager/Supervisor. Completes the admission/registration process and other admission finance functions. Serves as liaison between patients, nurses, physicians and others. Responsible for handling walk-in patients and incoming telephone calls from customers seeking assistance with matters involving the patient accounting function. This position must be knowledgeable of admitting, billing and collection functions and be able to resolve any outstanding issues without involving other staff members. Provides excellent customer service. Qualifications: Required Education: GED or High School Diploma. Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree, CHAA certification, Healthcare/Medical Insurance environment. Necessary Skills: 1. Strong interpersonal skills. 2. Ability to communicate with people of diverse backgrounds. 3. Knowledge of insurance requirements preferred. 4. Requires excellent decision-making skills and initiative. 5. Must be detail oriented. 6. Ability to prioritize tasks and organize work flow. 7. Must be able to perform cashiering functions. 8. Must be able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner. 9. Knowledge of PC i Windows environment, 25 wpm typing skills. Required Experience: 3-5 years - Customer Service preferred in Healthcare environment.
