Role: Appointment Setter (Phone Sales)

The Appointment Setter — Phone Sales professional is responsible for converting firm-provided leads into qualified, scheduled appointments for our financial advisors. This is a high-activity, performance-based role focused on outbound calling, lead qualification, and calendar conversion — not cold prospecting. Leads are provided, and your focus is on contact, connection, and commitment.

You will act as the first live voice prospects hear from Guerra Wealth Advisors — building interest, establishing trust, overcoming objections, and securing scheduled meetings. This role works closely with the advisory team to ensure their calendars are filled with qualified opportunities and that prospects are properly prepared for their appointments.

Responsibilities:
  • Make 90–100 outbound calls daily to warm leads and prior prospects to secure advisor appointments.
  • Engage prospects through structured phone conversations that build interest and urgency.
  • Qualify leads by gathering financial background information and identifying fit for advisor meetings.
  • Clearly communicate the value of meeting with a financial advisor and confidently ask for the appointment.
  • Handle objections and follow proven call frameworks to improve conversion rates.
  • Consistently follow up with prospects to increase contact and scheduling success.
  • Track and report daily activity, including calls made, contacts reached, appointments set, and appointments confirmed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed CRM records for all prospect interactions.
  • Confirm and reconfirm scheduled appointments to improve show rates.
  • Represent Guerra professionally in phone outreach tied to seminars, workshops, and campaigns.
  • Coordinate closely with advisors and team members to align scheduling priorities.
  • Support campaign-based outreach and targeted call initiatives.
  • Assist with light administrative and campaign support tasks when needed.
  • Participate in ongoing sales training and financial education to strengthen effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in phone sales, appointment setting, or inside sales (strongly preferred).
  • Experience working in a high-volume outbound call environment.
  • Comfortable making 90–100+ calls per day consistently.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred (verbal and written).
  • Financial services industry exposure is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications/licenses (SIE, 2-15, 2-14) are a plus but not required.
  • Strong verbal communication and objection-handling skills.
  • Confident, persuasive, and results-driven phone presence.
  • Self-motivated with a competitive, goal-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable working with scripts, call frameworks, and performance metrics.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn CRM and dialing systems.
  • Team-oriented with a professional and client-focused attitude.

Schedule:
  • Full-time, role based in Miami, FL.
  • Standard weekday hours with flexibility based on call campaigns and advisor scheduling needs.
Compensation:

$65,000–$80,000 Annually (Base Salary + Uncapped Commission + Performance Bonuses)
