Physician - Pediatric Physiatrist

Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital (JHACH) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Physiatrist to join our highly recognized team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to children with physical and social challenges in JHACH Wesley Chapel Hospital. The physician will initially join an established team in the JHACH main campus in St. Petersburg.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to children with physical and social challenges in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Address the needs of the child through specialized treatment, ensuring optimal health outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for children with a wide range of conditions requiring physical medicine and rehabilitation.
• Educate and guide patients and families on rehabilitation processes, therapies, and long-term care strategies.
• Contribute to departmental growth, patient care improvements, and quality initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified in Pediatric Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Two - four years leadership experience.
• Ability to lead an inpatient rehabilitation team.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children and their families.
• Collaborative approach to care with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to providing exceptional, patient-centered care.
