Your Specific Responsibilities:

This position is a responsible professional position that reports to the Director of the Newborn Screening Follow-up Program for the Division of Children's Medical Services. The position is responsible for the programmatic oversight of the statewide Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Centers (RPICC) Program. This position is expected to be knowledgeable about perinatal and neonatal health care delivery systems and provide guidance and technical assistance to medical providers throughout Florida on the RPICC Program.

This position will require knowledge, skills, and abilities, including:

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to provide training and technical assistance to large and small groups.
  • Results driven and manages time effectively by prioritizing tasks and managing competing priorities.
  • Maintains a calm and positive attitude while meeting deadlines with tight turnaround times. Demonstrates flexibility in responding to demands and varying requests with ease.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and and ability to provide excellent follow-up.

Qualifications:

Minimum

  • RN license in accordance with Florida Statute 464

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of nursing experience
  • Experience with contract management
  • Experience with perinatal and/or neonatal health care delivery systems
