Warehouse Associate (1st Shift)

Rightstone is looking for a hard working Warehouse Associate in Tampa, FL with $15.57/hr. pay for a 1 year contract duration (temp to hire opportunity). In this role, you will play a vital part in the moving, arranging, lifting, and loading of storage boxes, bins, and totes. This position requires physical agility as you will frequently kneel, squat, reach, bend forward, and handle items ranging from 24 lbs. to over 100 lbs. Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30PM, Monday to Friday, includes a 30-minute lunch + two 15-minute breaks.



Essential Functions:

• Work without assistance in order to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes including up and down inclines, stairs, and over changes in walking surface/elevation.
• Lift and move boxes, read labels, and process incoming and outgoing orders.
• Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes.
• Operate handheld scanner.
• Climb and balance on ladders.
• Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs. without assistance for prolonged periods.
• Load, operate, and move hand carts, pallet jacks and various other material handling aids.
• Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level, or on carts.
• Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.
• Walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods of time.
• Read and write English.

Roles and Requirements:

• Comfortable lifting and carrying boxes up to 100 lbs. without assistance.
• Willing and able to walk, stand, bend, and twist for extended periods.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Experience using basic warehouse tools or willingness to learn (pallet jacks, carts, scanners).
• Safety-minded and dependable, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a secure warehouse handling stored files, books, and backup media.
• Capable of a physically demanding role requiring continuous movement and lifting.
• Protective footwear required: Must meet ASTM F2413-11 standards and be slip-resistant (rated Better or Best).
