The Human Resources professional we seek will take a hands-on approach to building out the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including high volume recruitment, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices for a growing and successful $100 million specialty contractor. This role will work closely with the payroll department and senior management and will report to the executive team. This position requires construction industry experience.

The successful candidate is comfortable researching, learning, and creating policy and HR frameworks, and approaching management teams with potential solutions, and collaborating on the best approach as a team. This role will take a hands-on approach deploying and administering the company's new HRIS system.

As this role will have some autonomy and be relied upon for functional expertise, at least seven years of experience in HR specialist and/or generalist roles is required for consideration for this position.

Daily HR Leadership duties will include:

· Create recruitment strategies and plans.

· Head up new full cycle electronic on-boarding with payroll department by being the HRIS system go to resource.

· Oversee employee HR portal.

· Create employee value proposition with career paths for each category of employee.

· Employee relations.

· Safety program consultation and partnership.

This position requires a bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or related field.

This is an onsite role located in Palm Beach Gardens.

Salary is DOE.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
