About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Director of Product Management (Data Platform) to define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data platform. This leader will drive innovation, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance with healthcare data standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare data ecosystems and a proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams in delivering high‑quality, high‑impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the data platform in alignment with company objectives and customer needs.


• Prioritize platform features to ensure scalability, performance, and compatibility with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, OMOP, C‑CDA).


• Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate the ingestion of structured and unstructured data into the platform.


• Partner with stakeholders to understand healthcare data challenges and develop impactful solutions.


• Advocate for the adoption of innovative technologies, including real‑time data streaming and advanced analytics.


• Optimize platform performance, cost‑efficiency, and scalability on an ongoing basis.


• Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and results‑driven innovation within the team.


• Ensure adherence to data security, compliance, and regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).

Position Requirements:

• 7+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years managing data platforms or large‑scale distributed systems.


• Expertise in healthcare data standards and models (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).


• Experience delivering platforms that manage structured and unstructured data at scale.


• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, real‑time data streaming, and data transformation processes.


• Experience working with cloud‑based technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data tools.


• Familiarity with OMOP (Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership) data models.


• Experience with C‑CDA (Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture), including ingestion and parsing.


• Proven leadership, collaboration, and communication skills in guiding cross‑functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in start‑up environments.


• Familiarity with Data Lakehouse architectures, combining the flexibility of data lakes with the performance of data warehouses.


• Experience integrating AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics into data platforms.


• Prior experience working with healthcare systems, payers, or strategic partners.


• Advanced degree in healthcare informatics, business, or a related technical field.


• Experience with NCQA’s Data Aggregation Validator (DAV) program or similar data validation frameworks.


• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor product managers, fostering a culture of excellence.

Success Measures:

In 3 months:

• Develop a strong understanding of the data platform and products.


• Gain familiarity with product development processes, policies, and procedures.


• Build relationships with key stakeholders to streamline workflows and reduce inefficiencies.


• Contribute strategic ideas to the product roadmap in alignment with business goals.

In 6 months:

• Take ownership of critical product initiatives and meetings related to the data platform.


• Identify opportunities to integrate AI and machine learning into the platform for enhanced value.


• Define and implement platform scalability improvements, measuring performance against benchmarks.

In 12 months:

• Assume full ownership of the data platform strategy, reducing the workload for senior leadership.


• Deliver measurable improvements in platform cost efficiency and product development outcomes.
