We are looking for a skilled and passionate Wine Assistant Manager to join our team. You will support daily wine operations, manage inventory, assist with staff training, and ensure an exceptional wine experience for our guests.

Physical Requirements:

  • Endurance for Customer Service: Ability to stand for extended periods, ensuring consistent service throughout wine department operations.
  • Leadership in Wine Department: Set a standard of excellence in wine selection and presentation, inspiring innovative approaches to showcasing wines.
  • Lifting Capability: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, ensuring smooth handling of wine bottles, cases, and accessories.
  • Keen Observation: Maintain sharp observation skills to assess the quality and condition of wine bottles, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
  • Clear Communication: Effective communication with customers and team members is essential for a seamless wine shopping experience.
  • Manual Dexterity: Skillfully handle delicate wine bottles and accessories, ensuring precision in stocking shelves and arranging displays.

Qualifications:

  • A passion for wine and beer with a desire to share that enthusiasm with others.
  • Experience in both wine service and hospitality or restaurant operations
  • Solid knowledge of wines, regions.
  • Leadership skills and team support mindset
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive, outgoing attitude.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
  • Maintain proper storage and presentation standards.
  • Comfortable working in both fast-paced and slower-paced environments.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English; Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Non-slip shoes are mandatory for a safe working environment (please note that the company does not provide these).
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
