Sr Test Technician
Akkodis is seeking a Sr Test Technician for a Contract with a client in Clearwater FL. Candidate must have strong foundational experience in electronics testing with the capability to operate test equipment and follow detailed procedures accurately.
Note: 3rd shift - 10:30 pm to 7:30 am
Rate Range: $32/hour to $33.71/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Sr Test Technician job responsibilities include:
Performing manual and automated test setups while following detailed procedures to ensure accurate testing of navigation and guidance units.
Monitoring and recording test data using oscilloscopes, multimeters, calibrated tools, and other diagnostic equipment.
Learning and applying proper handling, mounting, and safety practices including ESD, FOD, and standard lab procedures.
Supporting the test lead or test engineer by identifying issues early and assisting with troubleshooting activities.
Interpreting schematic drawings, procedural documents, and equipment instructions to execute test workflows effectively.
Maintaining accuracy and documentation integrity while working within established test processes and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
An associate degree in electronics or a related technical field, or equivalent hands‑on experience as specified.
Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of electronic experience and 2 years of electronic test experience.
Candidate must have the capability to operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, calibrated tools, and follow detailed procedural instructions accurately.
Candidate must have the ability to learn and execute test setups, read schematics, and apply standard lab practices including ESD and FOD safety procedures.
