Construction Materials Testing Technician
Onsite
An established technical services firm is seeking a field-based technician to support construction quality assurance efforts. This role focuses on on-site testing, inspection, and documentation for infrastructure and building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform field testing of soils, asphalt, and concrete in accordance with industry standards
- Collect samples and prepare materials for laboratory evaluation
- Monitor construction activities and document compliance with project requirements
- Record test results, photos, and daily reports using company systems
- Coordinate with engineers and project teams to address testing outcomes
- Conduct site evaluations, coring activities, and assist with subsurface investigations
- Maintain testing equipment and adhere to all safety protocols
Qualifications:
- High school diploma and valid driver’s license
- Current ACI certifications related to aggregate and concrete testing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage field documentation independently
