Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $15 - $18/ hour*

What you'll be doing as an Office Assistant:

• Greet applicants, customers and visitors in a positive and professional manner
• Screen telephone calls, routing, answering or referring requests for information
• Maintain visitor's log to gather data for analysis regarding programs and services
• Provide appropriate forms and instructions to patrons for services
• Answer questions regarding housing programs
• Handle resident requests for maintenance, enter and close work orders
• Review documentation for completeness before acceptance and further distribution
• Scan, archive and retrieve department documents as needed
• Gather and distribute data regarding housing programs and services
• Prepare internal and external correspondence
• Organize and distribute informational packets regarding programs
• Copy literature for mass mailings to housing residents and clients
• May work at various properties in the organization as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Client service and relationship building
• Typing with accuracy – 35 words per minute
• Oral and written communication
• Data analysis and mathematical calculation
• Handle heavy workload conditions, calmly and efficiently
• Organize for fast-paced environment
• Deal with public in an effective, professional and courteous manner
• Maintain effective working relationships with clients, residents, supervisors and the general public
• Obtain certification of designated housing programs
• Perform tours and walk-throughs of property exterior areas in potentially high temperatures
• Background check and drug test required
