Executive Chief Manufacturing Engineering Leader

- Use multiple internal and external resources outside of your function to help arrive at a decision.
- Lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
- Present business or technical discipline solutions to leaders.
- Communicate complex messages and negotiate mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view.
- Influence peers to take action and negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 14 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or operations).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Operations.
- Travel up to 50% of the time.
- Experience with FLIGHT DECK fundamentals and tools
- Models the GE Aerospace Behaviors (Humility, Transparency, Focus): this is mission-critical for all GE leaders as an enabler for continuous improvement.

- Deep expertise in manufacturing engineering disciplines, design engineering, new product introduction, and working cross functionally with commercial, operations, and engineering teams
- Working knowledge of tollgate and manufacturing/technology readiness processes
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills
