As Executive Chief Manufacturing Engineering Leader for Unison P&L, you will oversee and influence budgets and operational plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive success. This role provides autonomy within the framework of established policies, allowing you to make impactful decisions. We seek a professional with strong evaluative judgment and operational expertise to achieve outstanding results.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Attract and retain talent, managing large teams while developing expertise in your function.
  • Develop and implement strategy across the P&L.
  • Develop roles that are experts in their discipline, providing professional or thought leadership.
  • Influence policy and ensure delivery within your area of responsibility, linking with other parts of the organization.
  • Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
  • Utilize understanding of industry and regulatory trends to inform the decision-making process.
  • Experience leading teams on a global scale.
  • Regulatory experience working in global markets.
  • Lead others to find creative solutions within complex manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles.
  • Employ sophisticated operational/product management, manufacturing, or engineering techniques.
  • Interact with adjacent functions to solve issues.
  • Evaluate the quality of information received and question conflicting data for analysis.
  • Use multiple internal and external resources outside of your function to help arrive at a decision.
  • Lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
  • Present business or technical discipline solutions to leaders.
  • Communicate complex messages and negotiate mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view.
  • Influence peers to take action and negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 14 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or operations).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Operations.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time.

  • Experience with FLIGHT DECK fundamentals and tools

  • Deep expertise in manufacturing engineering disciplines, design engineering, new product introduction, and working cross functionally with commercial, operations, and engineering teams
  • Working knowledge of tollgate and manufacturing/technology readiness processes
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills

EB

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
