Project Estimator -Commercial

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Project Estimator to lead the estimating process for commercial landscape, irrigation, and hardscape construction projects. This role is crucial in ensuring the accurate assessment and execution of projects, requiring a blend of analytical skills and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project scopes and specifications to determine precise requirements.
• Identify necessary materials and labor, and secure subcontractor bids and proposals.
• Address discrepancies in plans and ensure timely completion of estimates.
• Prepare and present detailed cost evaluations and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Successfully present and sell project proposals to clients.
• Maintain and update project cost data for future enhancements.
• Conduct quantity takeoffs and participate in client meetings to ensure project goal alignment.
• Confidently present proposals and manage communications to finalize sales.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in construction estimating, particularly in landscape, irrigation, or hardscape projects.
• Mandatory sales experience.
• Strong ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Expertise in plant materials, irrigation systems, and hardscape features.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in construction management, landscape architecture, or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with capability to effectively present estimates and proposals.
