Summary/Objective

Under the direction of the Dispatch Manager, the Dispatcher is responsible for scheduling and routing all employees and equipment in the most effective manner. The Dispatcher must be familiar with the various services the Company performs, the equipment in the fleet, and the abilities/training of the field personnel. This position will work closely with all levels of the organization to ensure that Drain Mechanics is meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

Essential Function

• Schedule, route, and dispatch trucks and labor personnel to job sites
• Writes, reviews and edits work orders & Sand/dirt tickets.
• Confer with customers and internal personnel regarding services, equipment needs, and scheduling conflicts
• Monitor personnel and equipment in order to coordinate services with schedule
• From work order, determine types and amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, and personnel required for the job
• Monitor field employees hours and availability to ensure compliance and adequate coverage
• Organize and restructure workflow and scheduling with quick turn-around time
• Prioritize jobs, workflow and estimate time, equipment and staff each job will need
• Ensures that employees being dispatched to specific jobs have appropriate training and certifications
• Ensure that daily paperwork is processed by end of shift and completes our municipality reporting
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year or more of Septic install knowledge.
• 2+ years Dispatching experience required (multiple services preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English required.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office suite or Google.
• Data Entry and computer navigational skills.
• Ability to speak a second language is a PLUS.
• Be able to problem solve and have the ability to think outside the box
• High energy; ability to work at a fast pace and meet deadlines
• Familiar with Brevard's geographical area
• Able to project a positive company image and interact professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Must be able to continuously learn and retain the ledge of new services and promotions.
• Must be able to accommodate working a variety of shifts and days when asked. Available to work some overtime. Work shifts may change to accommodate customer needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
