We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Billing Specialist to support our administrative and financial operations.

Pay Range: Competitive.

Position Summary:
The ABA Billing Specialist is responsible for managing insurance billing, claims submission, payment posting, and follow-up to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement for ABA services. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial health and supporting our clinical team. This is a full-time, in-person position based in our Palm City office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Submit and manage insurance claims for ABA services (CPT, ICD-10, and modifiers).
• Verify client insurance benefits and authorizations.
• Track, post, and reconcile insurance payments and denials.
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate billing records in EMR and billing systems.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff regarding documentation and billing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with payer requirements and ABA billing standards.
• Assist with audits, reports, and billing inquiries as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in medical or behavioral health billing required.
• ABA billing experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of CPT codes, modifiers, and insurance regulations.
• Familiarity with Medicaid and commercial insurance plans.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with billing software and EMR systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
