This position is the face of the resort. The staff that works in this department is responsible for creating life long memories for our guests. Attendants are to ensure that the entire pool area including chairs, tables, and pools are clean prior to opening pool and to ensure guest satisfaction throughout the day.
Essential Functions:
- Constant walk-through of pool area to make certain it is clean (no trash on the grounds) and tidy, including emptying trash receptacles. Ensure all pool furniture is in its proper place.
- To complete setting up and breaking down of all service cabanas as designated by management.
- Inspect entire pool area replacing any missing items and/or repairing (when possible) any items needing attention. (i.e. umbrellas, chairs, flags).
- Have complete knowledge and certification in CPR.
- Adhere to and enforce ALL Pool Safety Rules.
- Supportive to Resort wide training programs including but not limited to: OSHA, Safety, Educational and Employee Enhancement programs to assure the continual upgrading of department personnel.
- Perform exceptional communication skills throughout all functions of the job i.e. guests, department managers and fellow employees.
- Make guest requests your top priority.
- Adhere to resort safety standards.
- Perform other duties and handle projects as assigned by Manager.

- Most work tasks are performed outdoors and vary due to weather conditions.
- Position requires walking; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach different outlets and other departments of the resort on a timely basis.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning and stocking tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis and up to 100 lbs. on an occasional basis.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
Pay is $15.00 per hour plus commission and gratuity
