APRN

We are looking for an APRN who will collaborate with physicians in managing the medical needs of our patients.

Qualifications:

• Must have a current Florida license or be eligible to obtain a Florida license.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and possess strong computer skills.
• BLS and/or ACLS required.
• Full Time: Monday-Thursday; 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday 7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
• Prior Pain Management experience is preferred but not required.
• Possession of a State of Florida ARNP/ PA license.
• Proficiency in eClinicalWorks is preferred, but not required.

The PA/APRN also may perform the following tasks in an authorized setting:

• Obtaining patient history.
• Performing physical examinations.
• Ordering and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Overseeing the treatment plan.
• Monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.
• Offering counseling and education to meet patient needs.
• Making appropriate referrals, Imaging, Orthopedic, neurosurgery, etc.
• Prescribing and dispensing prescription medication in accordance with FL state laws and department policies
• Performing minor procedures and surgical procedures.
• Demonstrates ability to assess data reflective of patient's status and appropriately interprets information relative to patient's age-specific needs.
• Assist with ongoing departmental process improvement and policy development.
