Position Overview:
Impact Workforce Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper for our client located in Griffin, GA. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks and a strong understanding of accounting principles. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter vendor bills into QuickBooks daily.
• Process inventory receipts prior to vendor bill entry.
• Save digital copies of vendor invoices in designated folders and follow up with vendors for electronic submissions.
• Record customer checks in QuickBooks and manage deposits through online banking and check scanning.
• Handle inventory releases and transfers as required.
• Make necessary inventory adjustments for transfers and misprints reported by printers.
• Review and reconcile inventory quantities with monthly reports from warehouse locations.
• Oversee the entry of new customer information into QuickBooks, ensuring proper pricing levels and customer types are established.
• Review Open Sales Order and Purchase Order Reports weekly to ensure timely invoicing and inventory management.
• Invoice domestic blank towel and print orders based on shipping documentation provided by customer service.
• Update customer files with credit limits and payment information.
• Conduct inventory maintenance in QuickBooks, investigating and correcting negative inventory items.
• Compare freight rates quoted with actual invoices and ensure proper markup is applied to customer charges.
• Review open A/R reports, resend past due invoices, and escalate overdue accounts to management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
