Description/Responsibilities

Geotechnical engineering firm looking for a motivated entry-level Staff Geotechnical Engineer with excellent communication skills to join our team in Coral Springs. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Project estimating, coordination and management
• Coordination of drilling and geotechnical field testing
• Preparation of geotechnical engineering reports
• Perform field inspection and testing

Job Qualifications

• BS, MS preferred in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering
• Engineer Intern License (EI)
• Working knowledge of soil mechanics theory and laboratory testing techniques
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment
• Willingness and flexibility to travel occasionally for work
• Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
• Engaging interpersonal skills combined with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Focused organization and time management abilities
• A strong work ethic
• Computer skills including CADD, Microsoft Office and geotechnical software
• Driver's license and reliable transportation will be required
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
