Document Recording Specialist (Tampa)
Are you detail oriented with a knack for keeping records clean and deadlines met? A local company in Odessa, FL has a full-time opportunity for a UCC Document Processor supporting their Corporate Accounting team.
Pay and Schedule
- Full-time | Monday-Friday | 8am-5pm
What You Will Do
- Prepare, review, and submit UCC-1 Financing Statements for new accounts to county recording agencies nationwide
- Process returned mail from county clerks, make corrections, and update records in proprietary software
- Respond to title company and customer requests regarding account status changes
- Support the Accounting team with additional tasks as needed
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-4 years of related office or document processing experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, including Mail Merge
- Experience with a title company or county clerk's office preferred
- Familiarity with legal property descriptions and how to locate them a plus
- Intermediate math and language skills
- Strong attention to detail with accurate typing skills
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and following up on open items independently
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and work in a standard office setting
