Nicabanos is a world-class luxury cigar lounge and fine dining destination, combining Michelin-level cuisine, bespoke cocktails, and elite cigars. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a professional and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team and ensure the highest standards of financial management and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports for daily operations

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoices, payroll, and bank reconciliations

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

• Collaborate with management to provide insights for cost control and profitability

• Coordinate with external auditors, CPAs, and vendors as needed

• Implement and maintain accounting best practices in alignment with hospitality standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3+ years of accounting experience (hospitality or restaurant industry a plus)

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations

• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar), MS Excel, and payroll systems

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
