Bus Aide Weston
Lamers Bus Lines is looking for safety-minded bus aides to assist our bus drivers on school bus routes, Monday through Friday during the school year. The position averages 20 hours per week.
Bus aides are responsible for providing assistance and support to the school bus driver in order to ensure the safety of all passengers. Duties include, but are not limited to: ensuring orderly loading and unloading of bus patrons; maintaining seating charts of riders and seeing to the safety and sanitation of the assigned vehicle. Bus aides monitor students with various needs until released to parent, teacher or instructional assistant and reports observations or incidents to appropriate personnel for their action.
Requirements
• Complete pre-hire and random drug/ alcohol tests.
• Complete Annual TB test.
• Complete Criminal Background Check.
• Must be at least 21
• CPR/ First Aid Certificate is desired, but not required.
