Accounting Office Manager (Construction Industry)

Responsibilities: - Perform bookkeeping duties, including data entry, maintaining records, and reconciling accounts using accounting software such as Quick Books. Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Assist in the preparation of payroll and related tax filings for the Company. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings related to construction projects. Provide support to project supervisors and other stakeholders regarding project financials and accounting. Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes for construction projects. Ensure compliance with all insurance requirements for the construction industry, including general liability, workers' compensation, and bonding. Maintain accurate records of insurance policies and bonds, and provide necessary documentation as requested by clients, regulatory agencies, or auditors.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field 2+ years of experience in accounting or related field, preferably with construction industry experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting software Familiarity with construction accounting principles and project cost accounting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, in English and Spanish
