Independent Insurance Agent Supplemental Health & Voluntary Benefits

ShieldStone Coverage Solutions is seeking motivated insurance professionals to join our growing team as Independent Insurance Agents. This opportunity is designed for agents who want qualified leads, no traditional cold calling, flexible work options, and performance-based earning potential. Agents help consumers identify coverage gaps, understand available benefit solutions, and enroll in products that align with their healthcare and financial protection needs.

THE ROLE
  • Conduct needs-based consultations with prospective clients
  • Educate consumers on supplemental health and voluntary benefit products
  • Present coverage solutions based on licensing and carrier appointments
  • Assist with applications, enrollments, and policy servicing
  • Maintain accurate records within company-approved systems
  • Follow carrier, state, federal, HIPAA, and company compliance requirements
  • Participate in training and ongoing product education

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Active Health Insurance Producer License preferred
  • Unlicensed candidates willing and able to obtain the required license may be considered
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to explain insurance concepts clearly and professionally
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
  • Comfortable using CRM, enrollment, and communication technology
  • Previous insurance sales experience preferred, but not required
