Construction Superintendent
Location: Miami, FL
About the OpportunityAn established and well-respected General Contractor is seeking multiple experienced Construction Superintendents to join its growing team in Miami. This is an excellent opportunity for field leaders who enjoy managing ground-up construction projects from start to finish and take pride in delivering high-quality work safely, on schedule, and within budget.
We're looking for superintendents with strong leadership skills, a collaborative approach, and experience overseeing commercial construction projects across a variety of sectors.
Responsibilities- Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain project schedules.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Conduct daily site walks, safety meetings, and subcontractor coordination meetings.
- Monitor project schedules and proactively identify and resolve field issues.
- Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with all building codes and project specifications.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
- Work closely with the Project Manager, design team, and ownership to ensure successful project delivery.
- Foster a positive jobsite culture built on teamwork, communication, and accountability.
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor.
- Experience managing ground-up construction projects.
- Background in one or more of the following is preferred:
- Multifamily
- Commercial
- Healthcare
- Education
- Hospitality
- Industrial
- Mixed-Use
- Senior Living
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, and site logistics.
- Proven ability to lead subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of South Florida construction practices and building codes is preferred.
- $120,000 - $190,000, based on experience.
