This is full-time Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, with additional hours/times as needed in Aventura, FL. No hybrid or remote.

Role

Grant Cardone Enterprises is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to support financial reporting, account reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance. This role is essential in preparing accurate internal and external financial statements and assisting with a wide range of accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the preparation of internal and external consolidated financial statements by compiling and analyzing data from the general ledger and various departments.
• Maintain and reconcile daily bank transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely data entry.
• Create and analyze spreadsheet reports to support financial decision-making.
• Record general ledger entries, maintain documentation, and reconcile accounts regularly.
• Support the accounting department with data entry, accounts payable, ad hoc projects, and reconciliations.
• Recommend and help implement improved accounting procedures by analyzing existing processes.
• Respond to accounting and finance-related inquiries by researching and interpreting relevant data.
• Collaborate with the Finance Department on special projects assigned by the executive team.

Qualifications

• NetSuite or similar ERP experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field a plus.
• Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience, which may include internships or prior employment.
• Strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and general PC applications.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test during the application process.
