Introduction

This position will primarily be at the Women's Imaging Center at 11876 Atlantic Blvd, Jacksonville FL 32225. Depending on staffing and patient volume, you may be asked to cover at the Women's Center adjacent to Memorial Hospital on University Blvd.

Position hours are Weekdays only , no nights or weekends. We are looking for someone with flexible schedule. You may work up to 24 hours some weeks, less others, and more others - dependent on staffing and patient volume.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Administrative Assistant acts as the primary secretarial source at the Women's Center Imaging department.

• You will greet patients and assist them with the registration process for their medical appointment and exam. This includes assisting with the tablets that patients use to register and record their medical history.
• You will escort patients to the appropriate area once they are registered.
• You will answer phones as needed and interact with patients and public visitors.
• You will use your computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology to fulfill duties such as pulling radiology test results and forwarding the results to appropriate person.
• You will need to present yourself professionally with good empathy skills to the patients and visitors to the Facility.

What qualifications you will need:

• One year of medical assisting or medical office experience preferred.
• Familiarity with medical programs and medical charts is helpful
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• High School Graduate / GED
