Non-Interventional Spine Opportunity in Miami, Florida
- Full-Time Opportunity
- Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
- Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR)
- Fellowship training in Sports Medicine, Spine or Musculoskeletal (MSK) Medicine by an ACGME-accredited program strongly preferred
- This is an opportunity to develop a consultation service and help develop an inpatient rehab service within the neurosciences program
- Responsibilities include evaluation, diagnosis, and managing patients with spine-related conditions, including neck and back pain, degenerative disc disease, radiculopathy and spinal stenosis, while also developing non-surgical, evidence-based treatment plans
- Candidate will manage conservative treatment options such as physical therapy, medications, and lifestyle and functional optimization, while interpreting imaging related to spine conditions, and participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and care planning
- Participation in inpatient consultation services and outpatient spine clinics required
- The MNI team, which includes over two dozen physicians across eight locations, performs over 1,500 surgeries each year, and offers more than 30 clinical research studies, includes experts in a wide range of specialties, including neurosurgery, nonsurgical spine care and pain management, neuroradiology, interventional neuroradiology, neuro-oncology, radiation oncology and neurology.
