Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $35.84 - $35.84 / hour
Summary
Facilitates achievement of goals and objectives of Lee Healths effective Compliance Program using knowledge of compliance requirements and processes and project management skills. Collaborates with department teams to assure that elements of the Lee Health Compliance Plan are implemented and documented in a timely fashion. Assists with preparation of reports and communications. Conducts and assists in conducting investigations, and other compliance duties as assigned. Assists planning and coordination for Compliance Committee and Sub-committee meetings and System Compliance events.
Requirements
Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance, health information management and/or paralegal services, data analytics or office administration. Experienced with databases for tracking/reporting/ recording hotline reporting, privacy investigations, and non-monetary compensation, conflicts of interest preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) system required. Familiar with and understands the application of Lean principles. Knowledge of evidence-based adherence to the elements of an effective compliance program and the control and management of documents and records handling and destruction.
Licensure: None
Certifications: Certification as RHIT, RHIA, CHPC, CHPS or willingness to become certified within 24 months.
