Concrete Ready Mix Driver

As a Ready-Mix Truck Driver at Sea Glass Concrete, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering ready-mix concrete to various job sites. This role requires driving a concrete mixer truck, operating equipment, and adhering to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Driving: Operate the truck in accordance with DOT regulations and local traffic laws.

• Load Management: Ensure proper load distribution and adjust as needed.

• Product Quality: Verify concrete consistency, slump, and color to meet customer specifications.

• Customer Service: Deliver products to the correct locations on time and provide excellent customer service.

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the truck.

• Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

• Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members and support company objectives.

Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A or B)

• Strong driving record (no DUIs/DWIs in the last 5 years, no more than 3 moving violations in 3 years)

• Ability to read, write, and speak English

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Physically fit to perform the duties of the job, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to extreme weather conditions, noise, and outdoor elements

• Must wear protective equipment
