Job Title: Mail Production Specialist

Experience Level: Intermediate

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST (Training: 1 week in mailroom)

Location: Tampa, FL (8725 Henderson Rd, 33634)

Position Purpose

The Mail Production Specialist is responsible for distributing incoming and outgoing correspondence, supporting mailroom and production operations. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Open, sort, and prepare incoming correspondence.
• Scan incoming correspondence using high-speed scanners.
• Record and file specified incoming documents, including claims, appeals, and adjustments.
• Appropriately file imaged claims and handle inferior quality imaged claims.
• Generate and mail correspondence related to submission errors.
• Perform mailroom runs and warehouse tasks, including unloading/loading trucks (outdoor work at times).
• Lift and move totes weighing 35–60 pounds.
• Mandatory overtime as required.

Education & Experience

• Required: High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 3 months – 1 year of production-related experience.
• Experience Level: Intermediate (1 year of production-related experience preferred).

Skills & Competencies

• Reliable transportation to worksite.
• Knowledge of Adobe scanning tools.
• Strong proofreading and data entry skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and physical activity (sitting, standing, walking, lifting).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
