Accounts Receivable Clerk

This is a great opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a high-volume environment and excels at maintaining flawless transactional records and cash applications.

salary: $52,000 - $60,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Cash Application: Accurately apply daily cash receipts, checks, ACH payments, and credit card transactions to appropriate customer accounts.
• Invoicing & Billing: Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices, credit memos, and account statements according to designated billing schedules and payment terms.
• Collections & Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor aging AR reports, make routine collection outreach calls or emails, and maintain professional relationships with customers to ensure timely payments.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer billing inquiries, short payments, unapplied deductions, and payment variances in a timely manner.
• Account Reconciliation: Perform regular balance reconciliations for customer accounts and assist the finance team with month-end close schedules.
