Restaurant Manager – Upscale Miami River Restaurant
We are seeking a polished, service-driven Restaurant Manager to lead front-of-house operations in a high-end, fast-paced dining environment along the Miami River. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with a strong presence on the floor, exceptional guest-relations skills, and a passion for delivering elevated dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily floor operations with a strong focus on personalized guest service
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor, ensuring service excellence and swift resolution of guest needs
- Oversee reservation management, table flow, VIP coordination, and guest pacing
- Hire, train, mentor, and develop front-of-house team members to uphold luxury service standards
- Collaborate closely with culinary and bar leadership to ensure seamless service execution
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance standards in a high-volume environment
- Uphold brand standards, presentation, and hospitality culture
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in upscale or fine-dining restaurant management
- Strong leadership and floor presence with an eye for detail
- Exceptional customer service and guest engagement skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-energy, high-volume setting
- Experience with reservation platforms and guest database management
- A hands-on leader committed to team development and excellence

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop short and long-term goals and KPIs for the restaurant
- Hire, train, and manage employees and conduct periodic performance reviews
- Lead team in providing exceptional customer service
- Create and maintain a food and beverage budget
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
- Provide sales and productivity reports to upper management
- Develop and coordinate marketing efforts and community events
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous restaurant management experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, restaurant management software, and POS software
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent management and leadership skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
