Work you'll do/Responsibilities

As an Appian Developer, you will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable low-code business applications that improve client operations and user experiences. You will collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and client stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality Appian solutions while contributing to delivery planning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
  • Configure and develop Appian applications using SAIL interfaces, process models, rules, records, reports, and data stores.
  • Translate functional and technical requirements into scalable application designs and user-friendly workflows.
  • Build and integrate Appian solutions with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, web APIs, and other integration technologies.
  • Participate in application testing, defect resolution, code reviews, and performance optimization.
  • Support deployments across development, test, and production environments using established release-management practices.
  • Collaborate with client and internal delivery teams to identify risks, communicate progress, and deliver solutions on schedule.

Qualifications

Required
  • 4+ years of experience developing and configuring applications on the Appian platform.
  • 4+ years of experience building Appian SAIL interfaces, process models, expression rules, and reusable application components.
  • 4+ years of experience designing Appian data structures, records, data stores, queries, and relational database integrations.
  • 3+ years of experience developing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, JSON, XML, or comparable enterprise integration technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Appian application testing, debugging, deployment, and environment promotion.
  • 3+ years of experience using SQL and relational databases to troubleshoot data issues and support application development.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
