We are seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.

Responsibilities: Provides patient care before, during, and after surgery, managing the sterile environment, assisting the surgical team, monitoring patients, and ensuring safety by preparing rooms, instruments, positioning patients, and overseeing postoperative recovery, acting as a crucial link between the patient and the surgeon in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment. Key duties involve patient assessment, prepping the OR (scrub nurse role), circulating (managing the room), and post-op care, requiring strong critical thinking and teamwork.

Qualifications: Previous OR Experience, BLS, ACLS.

Key Responsibilities

• Post-Operative: Monitor patient recovery from anesthesia, provide immediate care, and facilitate handover for ongoing recovery.

• General: Collaborate with the surgical team, maintain detailed records, adhere to strict infection control, and advocate for patient safety.

• Pre-Operative: Assess patients, complete paperwork, prepare patients for surgery (positioning, prepping site), and calm fears.
• Intra-Operative (During Surgery):
  • Circulating Nurse: Manage the overall OR, maintain a safe environment, assist anesthesia, document procedures, and ensure all supplies are available.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Strong understanding of surgical procedures and asepsis.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure in a high-stress, dynamic setting
