216107 - Test Engineer
Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Test Engineers for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):- Must have an active secret clearance
- 4-6 years of experience with software development (C,
- C++, LabVIEW preferred)
- 4-6 years of experience in production environments
- 6+ years of experience in test equipment design
- 6+ years of experience in electronic testing
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical testing
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide
- Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for integration and testing of in-house and COTS/GOTS components
- Translate customer requirements into system test solutions considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints
- Establish functional and technical specifications and standards
- Solve hardware/software interface problems and define input/output parameters
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and subsystems
- Coordinate subsystem/system testing activities with programs and other organizations
- Analyze test results and prepare evaluation reports to verify and validate system performance
- Write discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to validate fixes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with LabVIEW/LabWindows CVI and NI tools for development and maintenance of complex systems
- Proficiency in C/C++ with ATE hardware integration expertise (switches, VXI/PXI chassis, EO testing, automation)
- Experience with automated test equipment development/maintenance in high-volume production environments
- Background in electro-optic sensor solutions for military platforms
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
WORK HOURS:
- 4/10 work schedule
- 1st Shift
