POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Junior Backend Developer, you will support the development and maintenance of server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our automotive sales website. Working closely with senior backend developers, you’ll gain hands-on experience and contribute to scalable and secure solutions that enhance user experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in developing, testing, and deploying backend services and APIs for automotive inventory, user accounts, and transaction processing.
- Help maintain and optimize database schemas and queries.
- Support integration with third-party services such as payment gateways and vehicle data providers.
- Follow security best practices under guidance to help protect user data.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure smooth data flow and responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and team meetings.
- Continuously learn and apply new backend development skills and technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role, preferably in e-commerce or automotive sectors.
- Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Pythkn, node.js, c-sharp,
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL,, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Knowledge of security principles, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
