Parts Driver (North Miami)

Job Summary: Toyota of North Miami is looking for a responsible and reliable Parts Driver to join our team in North Miami, Florida. This individual will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering automotive parts from our dealership to various locations in the surrounding area. As a Parts Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive their orders in a timely and accurate manner, while representing our dealership in a professional and courteous manner. Compensation and Benefits: This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry. • Safely and responsibly operate a company vehicle to deliver automotive parts to designated locations
• Pick up and deliver parts orders from dealership to customers or other dealerships
• Ensure all parts are carefully loaded, secured, and unloaded from the delivery vehicle
• Accurately record deliveries and maintain delivery logs
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle, including regular oil changes and other necessary maintenance
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers and fellow team members
• Assist in warehouse operations, including stocking and organizing parts inventory
• Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols while driving

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in automotive parts delivery preferred
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and reaching
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of basic automotive parts and inventory management systems
• Familiarity with Miami and surrounding areas
• Must pass a background check and drug test
