Candidates local to Tallahassee preferred for training and potential temp-to-perm opportunities Position Overview The Customer Contact Specialist performs complex but routine regulatory and customer support activities related to healthcare licensure and eligibility. This position requires strong communication skills, independent problem-solving, and the ability to navigate multiple systems while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate enjoys assisting healthcare professionals, conducting research, resolving complex inquiries, and working in a collaborative call center setting. Key Responsibilities
Respond to inbound customer inquiries regarding healthcare licensure, certification, and eligibility
Provide technical guidance and support to applicants and licensees
Research licensing records and regulatory requirements using internal databases
Accurately update and maintain records in licensing and enforcement systems
Assist customers with fingerprinting instructions, licensing procedures, and documentation requirements
Independently resolve customer issues while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records
Prepare supplemental documentation and assist with database updates
Support additional administrative and operational duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
Healthcare call center or insurance industry experience preferred
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage high call volumes
Comfortable working across multiple systems and databases simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Stable work history preferred (no frequent job changes)
