Administrative Data Entry Assistant

IAT Insurance Group has an immediate opening for a full-time Administrative Data Entry Assistant in our Heathrow, Florida location. The Administrative Data Entry Assistant is responsible for providing support to several claims' professionals. Please note, this position requires working from the office Monday-Friday. Responsibilities:

• Setting up surety claims files.
• Maintaining and updating Microsoft Excel database.
• Preparing initial responses to new surety bond claims by generating and mailing correspondence.
• Calendaring important milestone dates for new claims.
• Serving as an important point of contact for communications with claimants, bond principals and other parties.
• Maintaining electronic claim files by scanning documents and then classifying and saving them to our electronic claims system.
• Handling confidential information professionally and consistent with IAT policies.

• High School degree or equivalent
• Equivalent is defined as having 4 years of relevant experience
• Dependable/punctual
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency with MS Office software (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access) and ability to learn and follow company claims systems and procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with lawyers, company employees and external clients
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
• To qualify, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require VISA sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment purposes.
