Seasonal Pool Bar Chef
:
The Pool Bar Chef is responsible for prepping and preparing all food for Latitude 26 and Latitude 26 Pool Bar. Restaurant chefs are expected to have a high level of customer service skills, as interacting with our members and guests in our open kitchen is a critical component to the position. This position may also be referred to as Cook.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prep all necessary food and menu items to ensure consistency and a quality product is being delivered
- Continuously set and meet goals to ensure guest and staff satisfaction as well as the financial success of the establishment
- Ensure the highest levels of quality and consistency in food preparation, presentation and service
- Communicate ordering needs to management
- Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS office, POS, excel, word, restaurant inventory system)
- Credentials in health and safety training
- Ensure health and safety protocols are adhered to
Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
- Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training.
- Wear proper personal protective equipment (may include safety glasses, gloves, life jackets and/or hard hats) as required for the task or work area.
- Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.
Technical and Physical Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 3 years' restaurant kitchen experience preferred
- Appropriate culinary training and certifications preferred
- ServeSafe certification preferred
- Customer Service/Hospitality service preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, rotate, reach
- Ability to lift 50 pounds

Schedule
8-12 Hour Shifts which may include days, nights, weekends and holidays
