Box Office Teller

Prospective applicants must have clear and effective communication skills, and be able to provide excellent customer service to our ticket buying community. Applicants should be computer literate and detail oriented. Applicants should be comfortable handling cash/credit/cash transactions. Ability to work on the evenings of performances as well as weekends is required.

Applicants should also show an ability to take initiative, be conscientious, have excellent phone manners, and a patient demeanor.

Expected Salary:

$12.00-$13.00 commensurate with experience

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Strong customer service and communication skills Evening and weekend availability, as needed Ability to work 12 - 30 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience handling cash/credit transactions. Prior customer service experience.

2. Our regularly scheduled daily shifts are Monday-Saturday 11:45am-3:00pm and 2:45pm-6:00pm. You can also work straight through from 11:45am to 6:00pm. Please specify the times/shifts you would be available to work.

3. Will you be available to work weekend and evening shifts during our performances?

4. Are you currently enrolled in classes at UF, Santa Fe, or any other college?

This is a part-time position. Candidates must be able to work 12-30 hours per week.

If hired as a student:

This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed through student Other Personnel Services (OPS) and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week.
