Title: Software Developer (Power Apps focus)

Description

Plateau is seeking an experienced Software developer who specializes in Power Apps Development, low-code solutions to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing SharePoint Solutions (i.e., SharePoint Framework SPFx) and Microsoft Power Platform, to include Power Apps and Power Automate.

Beneficial for candidates to also have foundational skills in standard technologies like HTML5, CSS, typescript, and JavaScript (JS)

General Responsibilities:

-Design, develop, and deploy custom business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate Cloud/Desktop, Power BI, Power Query, and Dataverse.

- Build, maintain, and optimize SharePoint Lists and Microsoft 365 integrations to support business processes and automation.

- Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), SharePoint client-side development and with the manipulation of SharePoint lists and permissions to act as a secure database.

-Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Power BI that provide actionable insights and enable data-driven decision-making.

-Develop and manage data models, transformations, and ETL processes using Power Query, Dataverse, and other connected data sources.

-Ensure scalability, security, and compliance of Power Platform solutions in alignment with organizational policies and Microsoft best practices.

-Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Dynamics 365) and third-party systems as required.

-Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design user-friendly solutions, and provide training/support for end-users.

- Assist in developing, coding, testing existing web software

-Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues, ensuring high system performance and reliability.

-Maintain documentation for solutions, workflows, and integration points to support operational continuity.

-Stay current with emerging Power Platform features, Microsoft 365 updates, and low-code/no-code trends, recommending enhancements to maximize business value.

-Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

CompTIA Security + is required

-DOD Top Secret Clearance or greater is required

-2+ years of experience in developing solutions with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate Cloud/Desktop, Power BI, Power Query, Dataverse).

-5-10 years overall experience in military service or joint headquarters working in enterprise technology

-Strong expertise in Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) design, form customization, and app lifecycle management.

-Hands-on experience creating and managing Power Automate flows for process automation, integrations, and RPA.

-Proficiency in Power BI dashboard/report development, including DAX, data modeling, and advanced Power Query transformations.

-Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with SharePoint Lists, Microsoft 365 applications, and Dynamics 365.

-Excellent communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and providing end-user training.

Desirable Qualities:

-Solid understanding of Dataverse architecture, relational data modeling, and security roles.

-Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, OData, and connectors for extending integration capabilities.
