Dean of Academic Affairs
We are seeking a Dean of Academic Affairs for a direct hire opportunity in Orlando, FL.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual retention goals, as well as the daily student attendance rate goal of 85%.
- Develop and maintain the master schedule for all programs and courses, ensuring appropriate class coverage by instructors, teaching assistants, and staff.
- Recruit, interview, train, supervise, coach, and evaluate faculty, staff, teaching assistants, Registrar, Student Services, and Library/Resource Center personnel. Compensation and Benefits - Salary: $90,000 per year.
- Job Type: Direct Hire.
- Location: Orlando, FL.
- Schedule: Must be able to work extended hours, including evenings and Saturdays, to meet business objectives. Additional Skills
- Master’s degree in Education required.- Degree must be from an institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting body approved by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a college-level educational setting.
- Minimum of 3 years of successful teaching experience at the college level. Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting accreditation standards and academic compliance requirements.
- Prior leadership experience in a career college, private college, university, or student-focused postsecondary education environment.
- Demonstrated success improving retention, attendance, faculty performance, and student satisfaction outcomes.
