Job Title: OR RN Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in an acute hospital setting License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Current experience in ortho, neuro, and robotics with willingness to float to general OR. - Robotics/Da Vinci experience and scrubbing. Description: Unit Information: - Number of Beds: 16 rooms - Number of Staff: 53 total - Type of Staff: Director, Charge RN, OR RNs, surgeons, anesthesiologists, CNAs, LPNs, techs. - Patient Ratios: 1:1, 2:1, 3:1 - Type of Equipment: Sterile accessories, circulator, sponges, gowning, gloving, tubing, cords, surgical instruments. - Documentation System: Meditech Typical Duties: - Prepare operating room and arrange equipment. - Assist during surgeries. - Inspect, maintain, decontaminate, and repair surgical equipment. - Keep inventory records. - Perform pre- and post-surgical repair, including shaving, transporting, and applying dressings. Additional Preferences: - Easily adaptable to a fast-paced unit. - Can function well independently. Dress Code: Scrubs provided.
