Kennel Professional
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and be committed to ensuring the well-being of our companions. We are a world-renowned program of around 15 show dogs and have just built a new, state-of-the-art facility here in Wimauma. Mainly looking for afternoon shifts Monday-Friday and/ or Saturday-Sunday.
Responsibilities:- Provide attentive care to animals in the kennel facility.
- Help with regular grooming responsibilities (can be taught).
- Assist with feeding, grooming, and exercising pets.
- Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns.
- Clean and maintain kennel areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
- Assist with administering medications as directed.
- Could be an overnight opportunity on weekends as a "dog sitter" (with extra pay).
Requirements:
- Must be 18+ years old.
- Must have some kind of animal husbandry experience.
- Must have own reliable transportation.
- Must speak English.
- Must have a good attitude and love for dogs.
