Security Guard - Canopy
Job Summary
Professional Security Guard to help maintain a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly observant, and confident in enforcing policies while delivering excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities
- Monitor entrances, exits, and the dance floor to ensure guest safety
- Verify guest identification and enforce age restrictions
- Enforce club rules, capacity limits, and dress code policies
- De-escalate conflicts and handle disturbances in a calm, professional manner
- Remove intoxicated, disruptive, or unauthorized individuals when necessary
- Respond quickly to emergencies, medical incidents, or safety concerns
- Conduct routine patrols of the venue, including restrooms and outdoor areas
- Coordinate with management, bartenders, and local law enforcement as needed
- Complete incident reports accurately and promptly
Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior security, bouncer, or law enforcement experience preferred
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to remain alert and focused in a fast-paced, loud environment
- Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods
- Must be 21 or older
