We are searching for a Drafter for one of our key clients located in Bartow, Florida, an industrial maintenance company focused on providing high-quality products and services, and excellent service and support to its clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed fabrication prints and drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and other CAD software.
• Develop 3D models and technical drawings for various projects.
• Perform field measurements and gather data to ensure accuracy in designs.
• Collaborate with the team to review and improve designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of designs, revisions, and project specifications.
• Assist with the purchasing of materials and parts, adhering to JIT principles to avoid shortages.
• Perform additional tasks and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Drafter/Draftsman or similar role; 4 or more years preferred.
• Highly proficient in SolidWorks, with the ability to serve as a go-to resource on best practices and complex designs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, 3D Modeling, and technical drawing.
• Experience in reading and creating blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with mechanical design and function.
• Fabrication and drafting experience in a sheet metal or structural environment, including machining, milling, and turning.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CAD CAM software.
• Familiarity with shop equipment such as plasma cutters, press brakes, saws, welders, and ironworkers.
• Knowledge of industry safety practices and fabrication processes.
